Say bye-bye to harsh hot tub chemicals
Natural hot tub blog
Clean, clear & chemical free - feels good
Our philosophy is that the fewer contaminates you put bring into your hot tub the less maintenance time it will require. Constant preventative care will make your hot tub hassle free and healthy. This section will provide you with a guide of basic hot tub care.
Simple rules for bathers
Bathers can help keep your hot tub low maintenance by rinsing all detergents out of bathing suits, removing (sponge bath saves water verses showering) any lotions and sunscreens, sweat or dirt. You can also use SpaPerfect botanical enzymes to help break down these things so you don't have to be so strict on occasion.
Let the spa do the work
The other habit to get into is running the jets run a cycle after you soak. This allows the filters to feel with fresh contaminates and aids in recovery after a crowd.
Fresh air is good
I love to allow my tub to breath. This helps keep the water remain fresh, the cover to get some sun tharepy. This seems to aid in the health of the water.
Move the minerals in the bag
Giving the bag a little fluff once in awhile allows the minerals in the bag to redistribute and expose more minerals to contaminates.
Take a day off to recover
If you have used your tub often or had visitors, most of the time if you run your jets add 1 pt of peroxide and give your tub a day off. The water will self correct.
